Lounging

Got the pool up this weekend!  Just lounging around.  Deceided to quit the junk business.  My back has been hurting for a month. Too much lifting.  I will still do some junking and Canton, just for me.    hugs  judy

Driving thru my regular g- sale route when I spied these old  wood columns. It was a narrow side street and lots of heavy things in this pile A lady smiled when she saw me  wrangle one of these into this truck.  .  I got this one but need some stronger arms to help with the rest. The  end caps are their too.  Poor Mr. "Shabby Junk" will get some exercise soon to retreive these.  No good finds except these today.    hugs....    judy

Plants & Things

Just  some things around the yard. Took down the aprons , think they scared a few people.  Put some doilies up instead. Plants are really growing . Things are heating up 80's and 90's this weekend.  Getting my tan on for FLorida in a few weeks!!!!    judy

Went to Italy a few years ago.  Took our pic in front of the famous Trevi Fountain.  Magical. Wish I  was there. Day dreaming.

Light Show

Had a light show and rain all is good.   Lots of lightning bolts but could not catch on film. Is the weather getting weirder or what??   Pretty day ahead!    judy

I was doing my walkabout this morning and spotted a sale. They always have the "Good Stuff".  Found all this for 7$. Exercise pays in more ways than one.       judy

Their is a vintage car show in town today and it's 50 degrees!  Crazy for May!   This is small town usa, Royse City, Texas.  This is a short walk from my house.  The cars are great but, I did a little shopping.  xo  judy

Sales...... And a Little Curb Finds

Lots of great sales in the area today.  Neighborhood sales all weekend!  Now that gas is so high I am not traveling over 3 or4 miles .    Today  I got German pickle dishes, glass  floral frogs, vintage table cloths, silverplate tea  server, baby bonnet, vintage delicate earrings, doilies,  old bingo cage,  vintage bird cage,wood ladder,assorted painted dishes,  from curb..... old hall telephone box, pink wicker chair, 4 doors .  wow I am tired!  Started walking again and saw the pink chair at the curb.  I carried it home 3 blocks!  Crazy!   Tomorrow is another round.    judy

Early Estate Sale

Hit an estate sale this morning. Said 8 and no early birds. Well I respected that and got their 15 minutes til.  They had let some people start and had piles already. Bummer, their was an old wood wall phone 15$!! Gone!   Cool dressform with antique hat. Gone! This is all I could find left that was any good. Next time I will trust my instincts and go earlier.   Oh did I tell ya every thing was pretty cheap?     judy
