Home Improvements

Been busy painting and replacing fixtures, with some from an old house across the street.  The neighbors are moving so they are stripping the old house.  I painted the top one black and my husband rewired. ( The BEFORE photo  is on the last post .) The pink one was in their bathroom and the crystal one was in a stairwell. I needed a desk chair and found this one at "Home Goods".  Love it!  The old trike was from another neighbor who moved and is having a sale.  Tomorrow will be a huge sale at their house!   FUN FUN!!    judy

Haunted Porch Light Fixture

Another old light fixture I bought from my neighbor.   He says this one is haunted.  I think It's just the birds who build nest in it.  It's cast iron and very old . It's going on my porch now.  Thinking black paint, what do ya think??

My neighbor is moving from an old house across the street from me. It was once an antique shop.  He is selling off pieces and I bought 4 light fixtures from him . Here are 2 of them.  The crystal one has etched glass. Will take a better photo wen they are cleaned and hung!!  judy

Bought this doilie purse in McKinney at the antique mall and added my touch to it.  Seam binding from "French Market" on Etsy.  Old milinary from Canton Flea.  Old keys mine. Shabby perfect!   judy
