 Went to Destin, Florida for a week. Tropical storm "Debby" went thru in one day, so great weather the rest of time.  Sunny and 82. and Beautiful!!!.................jude

Chances are.........

Went looking for a table with my sister-in-law Saturday.   There is a little place that the lady is Rarely there.   I spotted an Italian Murano Glass Mirror.  Actually 2. Both missing glass flower pieces.  As I am asking if this is her best price, I am think maybe in my attic I have a lamp shade with these flowers on it.  Well I got the mirror  for 40 instead of 65.  Ran home and went to the 120 degrees atic space.  Yes!!! A match!!      Now I need the other mirror!.....................judy

Garage Sailing Along.................

Looks a little primitive, yes. This was my weird find of the year. Emailed the hubby to tell him it was going to be our future lamp.  Not even a studder from him. Well I guess there are no more surprises where I am concerned. Maybe after almost 16 years of marriage , I am now predictable.  Hmmm...... Can't wait to see how this turns out.  Stay tuned. Hope I don't get sunburned inside the house. Well it is a good conversation piece.  If only it were a pink or turquoise one. That might freak him out a little. Nah.......................................................judy

Still Painting House

Still Painting the house. Did the front carport and upstairs attic room. Then hung all my rusty old things .  This took 2 1/2 days with my husband helping. Not done yet. Hope to finish in a few weeks.  Way too hot already.  I love the white and black colors. Last photo is a wall in the back yard by the pool. Had this old fencing for a while.  A trash find.....................judy

Another week of painting done. Next is the carport and Junk Room over the carport. It's 93 today, so I took a dip in the pool. Yikes!! Cold!!...........judy

Rainy Afternoon

Well it's pouring rain at the moment 2:30 in the afternoon.  The house is dark and I have my Yankee Candle "ISLAND GETAWAY" on   Got at Target this morning.   Smells like the beach.  Everything is getting some good watering..  Gutters are overflowing.     My dog "Bubba" is hiding behind the glider on the porch, he hates the thunder..  Dreaming of sunny days on the beach in Florida soon! .......................judy
