Got some work done in between looking for new things for the booth. I finished the bookshelves Sunday and the table today.  Tomorrow is going to be a big change in the weather. Trying to stock up.  Now for spagetti and meatballs!    judy

Running On Empty

My booth was getting sparse and in need of furniture,so out I went yesterday to do some picking.  Got these great dresser lamps,  railroad lantern, dressform, grocery scale, great old bloomers,chippy dresser and oval table.  A few of these are keepers.  Great finds from three places, There are still good things out there to find!  I am a happy picker today.                            judy

I Got Mail

Lavender

Just received this from "Petite Michelle Louise" thru ETSY. Look how sweet they are wrapped. Hated to open them, almost.   I could smell the lavender thru the package. UMM... I bet my mail lady wanted to keep this one.  This was my first etsy buy.    Thanks Michelle, I love them. Very speedy delivery too! Thanks again!     judy

Nothing Beats Vintage

Like Dawn at "Bohemian Valhalla"  I too have an  obsession for dressforms.  I love  vintage clothing also.   Old wedding dresses, etc...   Now these were one of a kind treasures.  Old prom dresses are a favorite also.  This dressform is one of mine. I have sold the others reluctantly.  Off to my booth to paper walls and add some new.    It's going to be around 70 degrees today.    Oh happy day!          judy

It's too cold to paint outside so I brought my work inside.  This is a before with one coat of paint. Will distress  after several coats.

Being held hostage by this flu bug. Thought I was free from it but....     Enjoy some whites.      

Chippy Is A Good Thing

I don't know what the facination with chippy old things is.  The wood chair in the top photo is on my porch.  The red can  and green school bench are also mine.  Don't you just love the little kid chairs on the blue porch?  This was taken at a neighborhood called old town Rockwall, Texas. I did not have the good camera on me that day.   Have a chippy day.                         judy

I Heart Hearts

I love the Valentine holiday because their are so many beautiful things that can be used all year round. Saw these and just loved the french words with the silver. It's a beautiful day here. Started at 25 degrees but now 43.  Still not tops after the stomache thing last week. But pushing to feel better.

Took this old organ top to my booth today and put on top of mantel.  Need to refoof the loft area next. It is at the top of the stairs. Need more furniture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's amazing to me how these pretties have stood the test of time.  They seem so fragile.   They hang on my wall so I can see them everyday. If they could only tell where they have been.

Sick with Ick

Ok , I never get sick. I take Airborne and Vit C.  I am a germaphob with Sanitizer.   Like Seinfield said on one of his shows." I had a no puking streak".  Just broke the 20 year record .  Took 3 Imodium  AD Feel better so far.  Oh well, on the upside I should lose a few pounds. Stomache Flu is a bummer.   Take care all!   judy

 Went to the "Emporium" in Caddo Mills to see my friend Pat (owner) and bought this sweet pink elephant drink mixer from her store. (no lid)    I had a glass that matched at home.  YaY!!!
